BAKEWELL DOG SHOW

SATURDAY 16TH & SUNDAY 17TH JULY

Bakewell Dog Show, sponsored by Royal Canin, returns to Bakewell Showground. It runs over two days and will run in tandem with Bakewell Country Festival on the Sunday. Entry to the dog show on both days is free of charge.

South Yorkshire Whippet Club will also hold their championship show at Bakewell Dog Show 2022. Please scroll to the bottom of this page for further details.

Parking for exhibitors is free and will be adjacent to the Dog Show area. Any person exhibiting one or two dogs on Sunday 17th will receive one free entry ticket to Bakewell Country Festival, or exhibit three dogs and receive two entry tickets. Any additional tickets should be purchased via this website.

COMPANION DOG SHOW

A companion show will take place on both days with entries taken on the day. The companion shows are in support of the local Air Ambulance. Please refer to the final page of the schedule for full details.

SOUTH YORKSHIRE WHIPPET CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW

South Yorkshire Whippet Club will also hold their championship show at Bakewell Dog Show 2022. The club has been in existence for over 40 years and has held its shows in South Yorkshire and Derbyshire over that time.

The club has been instrumental in promoting the breed through its shows and educational seminars and are grateful for the opportunity to share their passion for the breed at Bakewell Country Festival. They hope that the wider community get a chance to appreciate the loving and devoted qualities of the Whippet.


Their championship show will have two judges, Mr Paulo Coelho and Mr Rob Becquet. Both judges are respected breed specialists.
