Bakewell Christmas Sparkle Returns on Sunday 29th November 2026

The sixth annual Bakewell Christmas Sparkle will take place on Sunday 29th November from 10am to 4pm at the Agricultural Business Centre (ABC) on Bakewell Showground.

We're making further use of the ABC at this year's Sparkle by including indoor space to eat, drink and listen to live festive musical performances:

WHAT'S ON...

🎅🏼 Meet Father Christmas in his cosy tipi grotto

(£5 per child including gift, grotto closed 1-1:30pm for lunch)

🐰 Animal encounters (TBC)

🤡 Face painting (nominal fee)

🎨 Festive children's crafts (from £2)

🍕 Local independent traders' food court

🍷 Festive local bars and drink vendors

🍴 Indoor space to eat and drink

🛍️ Local independent Christmas market

🎠 Small children's rides from Bramhalls Amusements

MUSICAL PERFORMANCES:

🎙️ Festive sets from The Lah Di Dahs

🎶 Carols from a local choir (choir TBC)

DOGS:

Well behaved dogs are welcome on a short lead.

PARKING INFORMATION:

Parking is available on Bakewell Showground with entry from Haddon Road (A6). Cash and card payments are accepted. Parking fee £5 (access to Bakewell over foot bridge).

The event finishes at 4pm and car parks will be closed and locked at 6pm. Please ensure you have vacated by this time.
