Bakewell Country Festival is set to return to Bakewell Showground on Sunday 16th July 2023 following a successful inaugural year.
While planning is well underway, some elements of the event have already been announced, such as British Scurry & Trials Driving competitions, offering a fast-paced spectacle in centre ring. On the equestrian theme, heavy horse competitions are also set to return to the event with details to be announced in due course on the BAHS website.
There will once again be plenty for families to do including animals to meet and hold, interactive music sessions, craft activities, fairground rides, plus much more to be announced.
The atmospheric festival stage will also return with performances from The Old Time Rags and The Jelly Roll Jazz Band, both back by popular demand, and local producers will make up the festival's food courts and market areas.
Trade applications for the event are now open and prospective vendors can apply to stand via an online form on the BAHS website.
