We are delighted to make our first announcement about entertainment and traders at our Bakewell Christmas Sparkle event on Sunday 28th November 2021.
The event, which will take place indoors and outdoors at Bakewell ABC, will run from 10am to 4pm. Families will be able to meet Father Christmas (thanks to Bakewell Rotary) and his real reindeer (thanks to Haughton Park Farm), and there will be entertainment from Bakewell Silver Band and Peak Performance Choir at regular intervals throughout the day.
Children can also enjoy Christmas craft sessions with Chesterfield's respected StraightCurves, and Bakewell AHS will also have Christmas card making sessions running at a cost of just £1 to cover materials.
Adults aren't forgotten either! There will be seasonal floristry demonstrations, with the opportunity to buy centrepieces and wreaths, plus Christmas cake decorating demos (TBC).
There will also be a food court area, where visitors can indulge in delights from local food and drink traders, as well as a Christmas market packed with local handmade goods.
